Hey There St Mary Mag 😊

This Sunday, Archbishop Foley, Abbot Chris, and I — possibly even one or two more — will be vesting for worship. My team chose for us to do this because it’s a big day for all of us — a transition into the next chapter of our community.

I’ve never fully vested in our worship, not because I’m ashamed or embarrassed by it. Like my father before me, I’ve got a white collar education while often functioning in a blue collar fashion. It’s just honest about who I am. But I’m happy to also share this other piece of my reality with y’all 😊

So, don’t freak out but feel free to smile or chuckle when you see me looking a little different Sunday. And don’t worry — the boots and alls are never far away 😉
