on the Sermon on the Mount

As we have been working our way thru the Sermon on The Mount in the book of Matthew, Father Al has been giving us small instructions on how to put what we are learning into action.

We’ve had questions to ask ourselves like “Who was my audience today?” And we’ve been challenged to pray The Lord’s Prayer each day.

Here is his challenge for us this week:

This week, twice a day — morning and evening — pause and ask:
“Am I trusting in our Father’s love and provision, or am I too busy protecting myself to even see it?”
Be honest and take that to our Father – thanks or confession – He wants both.
